Torrid Jeans make me feel so darn sexy! I am obsessed with these dark wash jeggings. I paired them with this top from Fashion to Figure which has an exposed zipper all along the back (which I forgot to photograph). :) 

This is such a great fall look and can be worn during the day or at night for a nice dinner, happy hour, or night out with the girls! 

The gold details on the sleeve allow for great accessorizing, but one tip is to always keep it simple if your garments have metal details so that you don't overpower the outfit. Hope you liked it.

I love this tee! Its chiffon in the front but jersey in the back. I am loving these new styles with mixed fabrics. It really allows for a casual but put together look, especially during the summer and fall time. Plus, you all know I love a good floral!!! :)

 

These Torrid shorts have been a staple for me all summer long. I am normally not into shorts but these are just so cute and comfy that I cant' resist matching them with a cute tee and heading out the door! What has your summer staple been?

Date Night is my favorite time of the week! I love coming down the stairs and having my husband tell me I look beautiful. These Harem Pants from Old Navy are so comfortable and I styled them with a simple black tee, a body chain, and black wedges.

 

Body chains are a tricky accessory, you can't have too much going on and they look best with a solid top or dress. Hope you enjoyed!

Summer Day...

This was one of my favorite photo shoots to date. The park was absolutely beautiful and the day was even prettier. In Miami it is always hot, no matter what day or time of year. We tend to stick to a comfy pair of jeans, sandals and a cute shirt. If not, we are in our bathing suits :)

 

This shirt from Old Navy is perfect for the hot Miami weather because it's super light and airy. I was dying to find something to match with this gorgeous necklace I got at charming Charlie. It was nice to fancy it up a bit. Hope you liked it!

Wynwood Fun!!!

One of my favorite places in Miami is Wynwood. The street art is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen! Block after Block for miles are walls covered in creative expression from hundreds of artists. They make for an amazing backdrop for photos.

 

My look is a simple jegging and a floral chiffon top. Anyone that knows me, knows I love a floral pattern. It makes me feel so pretty and feminine.

 

This was a special day... my husbands Birthday! Love you honey, thank you for always taking beautiful photos of me!  :)

Kimonos are officially my new favorite trend! You can wear them casually like I did here, with a dress, or over a bathing suit. 

 

Miami gets scorching hot during the summer, and Kimonos offer a cool fresh option for a cover up and the bonus is they come is all colors, patterns, and lengths.

Happy Memorial Day! Hope you are all spending this Holiday with your family and friends and enjoying a safe day out. We went down to Key West and stayed at a friends house near the Marina. As you can see it was a nice sunny day out and this outfit was absolutely perfect to stay fresh and cool. I picked up this Ribbed Tee and Soft Shorts at the Lane Bryant Outlet in Orlando when I was up there recently. The shirt, although black is extremely soft and airy. I also purchased it to pair with a pair of printed Palazzo Pants I got from  Charlotte Russe recently. Hope you like it!!!

Oh how I love this dress from Torrid! I am 5'4 and struggle with Maxi Dresses as they are usually too long on me so I go for these High-Low options instead. This dress has a breathable mesh material on the straps and back, along with a mesh trim on the bottom. This allows for a cooler feel on a HOT Miami summer day! I love how it cinches at the waist and opens up towards the bottom. Hope you like it!

When I am looking for something super comfy to wear, I always turn to my jeggings and a flowy top! MY husband and I spent the weekend in Orlando for a seminar I had to attend for work and I had about 45 minutes to go from business to casual and thought this would be the best option. These Jeggings from Old Navy are by far my favorite of all the ones I own. I don't usually like the faux pockets, but these streamline really well and have real pockets in the back. The top is from JC Penney, and although I don't always have luck finding trendy options the Alyx collection always delivers. Hope you guys like it!

I have been waiting for the perfect top to pair with these Boyfriend Jeans, and on my last trip to Torrid I finally found one. I love it because it has the lace front which adds softness to the rugged jeans, and also has the cotton sleeves that make it casual enough to pull off with flats or wedges. Hope you like it!

I was saving this dress for a Saturday Night, and it finally came!!! I love the pattern colors that this dress offers, along with the puffed sleeve. Today it was 98 degrees in Miami, and this little dress was absolutely PERFECT! When I saw it at Torrid, I knew I could wear it casually with some sandals or dress it up with some cute wedges. I had the perfect necklace to pair it with and off I was for a beautiful Sunday out with the Hubby!

I love a good floral/striped pattern, and when I saw this top at Torrid, I just snatched it right off the rack. I think the cotton sleeves allow for a more casual look, but the pattern allows for you to dress it up with a oversized necklace like I did here. I love spring, the bright colors and patterns  make me weak in the knees. :) Welcome Spring!

Here goes nothing! I have thought long and hard about starting this adventure as a plus size blogger and I finally took my leap of faith! I think it's so important to encourage confidence, beauty, and affordable fashion amongst all women. I am a true believer that fashion doesn't always have to be expensive. I am a sucker for a Ross Dress Sale! Which is where this perfect Cruise Dress came from. This silhouette is great for all shapes, it has a great flow at the bottom and an adjustable tie right on the waist, so you can make it as loose or fitting as you like. The quarter length sleeve is my all time favorite, and I believe this particular pattern really allows the eye to travel and not focus on any one part of the body.
